Each week we give you a run down of the Ante-post markets in the SPFL.
Rangers jumped up to second in the league on goal difference after their second victory over Aberdeen in four days. It means they have been cut into 4/6 favourites in the race to finish second.
Aberdeen are out to 11/8, whilst Hibernian are 6/1. Celtic are seven points clear with a game in hand so it is no surprise they are still red hot 1/200 favourites for the title.
At the bottom of the table, Dundee picked up another three points to move up to ninth. With Kilmarnock also picking up three points it was a bad weekend for Partick Thistle who are now the 15/8 favourites to finish bottom – although they do have a game in hand.
In the Championship, Dundee Utd headed back to the top of the table and were cut from 11/8 to 11/10 clear favourite. St Mirren were pushed out to 2/1 after they lost at home to Dumbarton. Their chances weren’t helped by the fact they played all the second half with ten men so punters might not read too much into the loss.
Ayr and Raith both picked up three points to continue the two horse race for League One. With so many goals in the team, it is Ayr that are the 8/11 favourites. Raith can be backed at Evs.
Lawrence Shankland moved to the top of the scoring charts after grabbing his 11th goal of the season. The hitman is now 3/1. Alan Trouten also grabbed his 11th of the season and the Albion Rovers player is 4/1. With Craig Moore and Lewis Vaughan both on ten goals it looks a fascinating contest.
Peterhead got back to winning ways in the league and will move to the top if they win their game in hand. With Rory McAllister also finding his scoring touch the Blue Toon have been cut to 8/13 for the league. McAllister moved to nine goals for the season and is now 7/2 for the Golden Boot – he remains four goals behind Mark McGuigan.
